Marvin Gerald Brady was our amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend. He passed away at the ripe old age of 73, but far too early for those of us that loved him dearly.
He was born to William and Lillian Brady at Quintard Hospital in San Diego on January 23, 1945. He graduated from Lincoln High School in San Diego class of 1963. He was a TKE at San Diego State University, graduating in 1968 with a teaching credential and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration.
He married his college sweetheart, Tina Simpson and they settled in La Mesa. They had two children Kelly Cristelle (Brady) Wedbush married to Gary Wedbush and Jason Anthony Brady married to Shannon Lewis (Brady).
Marvin taught math and PE at Hale Jr. High and math/ computer science at Gompers Secondary School. He retired after 34 years dedicating many hours to students in class and in extra curricular activities and sports.
Grandpa Brady has 7 grandchildren, Lilly, Brady, Henry, Ruby and Quincy Wedbush and Gaven and Taylor Brady. They will never forget his funny jokes or his beautiful smile.
