Miguel Mejia Jr., 61, of La Feria, Texas passed away at Knapp Hospital (Weslaco, Texas) on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Miguel Mejia Jr. was born in Matamoros, Tamp., Mexico and later resided to La Feria where he raised his beloved family. Miguel is preceded in death by his parents: Carmen Vera Mejia and Miguel Corona Mejia, brothers: Juan V. Mejia, Marco Antonio Mejia, Jesus Vera Mejia. Miguel Mejia is survived by his wife Celia Mejia and his four children Jamie Mejia Gonzalez (Daughter), Miguel Angel Mejia (Son), Elizabeth Gonzalez (Daughter), Esmeralda Mejia Gonzalez (Daughter). Miguel Mejia Jr. was a proud grand farther of 11 Grandchildren, Miguel Ricardo Nunez, Jamie Evalyn Gonzalez, Juan Angel Miguel Gonzalez, Evander Anthony Gonzalez, Dakotah Marie Mejia, Haily Elizabeth Gonzalez, Joshua Gonzalez, Alejandro Jesus Gonzalez Jr., Destiny Lee Gonzalez, Gabriel Gonzalez, Layla Gonzalez. He is survived by his sisters; Delia M. Castillo, Leticia Rodriguez, Maria Bravo, Ruth Mejia, Martha Hernandez. He also leaves behind 1 daughter in law Rebecca Mejia and 3 son in laws Juan Ramon Gonzalez, Alejandro A. Gonzalez, Fernando Gonzalez Solis. Viewing will be held from 03 May 17 through 05 May 17, Times are 1:00PM to 0900PM. On 04 May 17 will be the rosary at 7pm. 05 May 2017, Mass will begin at 10 AM followed by burial at 1100 AM, Friends and family are welcome and are in courage to attend.
