Maria Perla Najera

After receiving the call from our Lord, it was an offer she could not refuse. She would have to leave us and will not be returning.

Instead she will be united with her late husband of 56 years Horacio Najera, her parents Jose Maria and Victoria Cavazos, her 2 brothers George Cavazos and Joe Cavazos as well as other family and friends.

Perla retired from Wal Mart after 15 years. She also participated in various social clubs and charities helping others in her community.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma and great grandma.

She enjoyed working on her yard, loved roses, decorating her home, shopping and going dancing, mom was a very classy lady who always looked and dressed beautifully.

Her favorite shows were Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune, Young & the Restless and Bold and The Beautiful.

To her 4 surviving children Victoria Maya (Hugo), Rolando Najera, David Najera (Becky) and Norma Najera. She said don't be sad for I will always love you and be watching over you. Remember I will no longer be in pain.

She is survived by her 10 grandchildren; Justin Kolt Maya, Dylan Shane Maya, Victoria Paige Maya, Rebekah Elaine Najera, David Aaron Najera, Roland Najera Jr, Hana Shay Najera, Bailey Nichole De Leon, Cassandra Brook De Leon, Emilie Pearl Hernandez. 7 great grandchildren Noah Jaxon Maya, Elija Jayce Maya, Maverick Dylan Maya, Khloe Elaine Najera, Aaliyah Rebekah Zamarripa, Kryslie Athena Garcia and Rylee Ace De Leon.

Her 7 siblings; Starr Cano, Bano Cavazos, Diamond Boyd, Georgia Anzaldua, Ralph Cavazos, Sylvia Cavazos and Mary Lou Gomez.

Mom thank you for we were very blessed to have you as our mama and for leaving us with beautiful memories and giving us great advice.

The family would like to thank everyone for your prayers and to Alora Hospice, Dr. Posada for your kindness and compassionate care of our beloved mom.

You will be missed tremendously mama.

A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM. A service will occur Friday, November 19, 2021 at 7:00 PM, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A chapel service will occur Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 12:00 PM, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A burial will occur Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park., 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559.
