Maria was born Feb. 20th, 1981 in Pharr, TX. She grew up in Donna, TX. She had many different occupations but her favorite was being a substitute teacher. She loved teaching and being around children.
She is survived by her fiancé, Jose Luis Rodriguez of Austin, Tx. Her mother, Herminia Mancillas , four sisters, Claudia (Guadalupe) Alvarado, Laura (Eliud) Sosa, Araceli (Martin) Guerra and Carolina (Antonio) Mancillas-Davila, 7 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 great-nieces and 1 great nephew.
Maria (Lupita) has been described by many as sweet and caring. Two words that define exactly who she was. She taught us to live fearlessly and always without a smile. She will be truly missed.
Services will take place at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home in La Feria, Tx. Monday, May 29th, 2017 At 10 a.m.
