Linda Sue Thomas Payne, age 76 of Harlingen, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018. She was born in Clearwater, Florida to Henry and Nora Thomas on April 1, 1942.
Linda graduated from Roy Miller High School in Corpus Christi and retired as a secretary with HCISD.
Linda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Maurice Payne and two daughters: Sherry Stillman (Noe) and Lindy Smith (Mike). Linda was also “Mamaw” to Ryan Jacobs (Emily), Tomas Stillman, Danielle Stillman, and Sydney Smith. She was also a great-grandmother to Jett Jacobs. Linda had many other loving relatives and close friends.
The family wishes to thank Valley View Memory Care Center and their dedicated employees for their loving care of Linda.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 15th at 10:00 a.m. at Heavenly Grace Chapel in La Feria.
Those who desire may make a memorial donation in memory of Linda to the Alzheimer’s Association.
