Josefina lived in Pharr most of her life. She dedicated her life to raise her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, but most of all she loved playing with her grandchildren.
Josefina is survived by her children Lupita Salinas (Carlos Guerra); Maria Ramirez (Pedro Ramirez); Veronica Diaz-Galvan (Reyes Galvan); and Francisco Diaz; her grandchildren Pablo A. Puga, Jasmine Troncoso, Samantha Puga, Josefina Ramirez, Jaylene Jimenez, Mia Diaz, Pedro Ramirez, Angelina Ramirez, Reyes Galvan III; her great-grandchildren Ricardo Ramirez, Sophia Castillo and Sebastian Troncoso.
Josefina was preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years Gilberto T. Diaz and her parents Leandro and Tomasa Turrubiartez.
A memorial mass for Josefina will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Mother Cabrini Parish, 8001 S Cage Blvd, Pharr, Texas 78577.
