George grew up in Newport,MN and graduated from Park High School.
After working over 40 years at Buckbee Mears, George was able to retire and move to Los Indios, TX where he enjoyed riding his motorcycle until he was 78 years old!
He also loved to visit Mexico and the island with friends from the park, family visits, walking, go carting, driving his convertibles, reading, caring for his pets and others and playing evening card games with his buddies from the park (who nicknamed him the pirate) and he was always on the look out for a good rack of ribs!
George was a “gentle giant” who was always caring for others in any and every way that he could.
His sense of humor was unmatched, he loved his family and friends immensely and will be terribly missed by all.
