Fred (Bubba) Hudson Christiansen III, of Harlingen, Texas, passed away on November 2 ,2024, at the age of 81. He was born on March 21, 1943, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Ruby Wells Christiansen and Fred Hudson Christiansen II.
Fred grew up in San Benito, Texas, where he took great pride in being a Greyhound and graduated in 1961. He attended college for a year, studying Liberal Arts, before drafted into the U.S. Army, where he served honorably until his discharge in 1971.
An avid fisherman and hunter, Fred cherished spending time with family and friends. He was known for his engaging stories and infectious laughter, bringing joy to everyone around him.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Susan Archer Christiansen, sister Jeannie Christiansen Fletcher, and brother Donnie Christiansen. He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will deeply miss their Uncle Bubba.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Alzheimer's Association, Stroke Association, or your local Humane Society.
Fred's warmth and spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.
