Wilma Duncan, 93, Tipton, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Tipton. She was born on January 3, 1922 in Tipton County, the daughter of Leo and Christina (Teuscher) Fecher. Wilma grew up on a farm in Tipton County. She loved playing softball and basketball at Ross School. On June 1, 1941, she married Walter J. Duncan, and according to her, stayed married for “68 rotten, long, miserable years.” Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter, five siblings, and a great-granddaughter. She is survived by her sons, Greg Duncan, Sharpsville, and Arnold Duncan, Bunker Hill; her granddaughter, Susan; and her great-grandson, Skylar. To say that she will be missed is an understatement. Funeral services will be on Friday, December 18 at 11 AM at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 1385 S. Main Street, Tipton, with visitation at the church from 10 AM until service time. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, December 17 from 1-8 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo.
