Victoria "Vicky" Marie Cook

Victoria "Vicky" Marie Cook, 62, a lifelong resident of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 in her home. She was born July 14, 1960 to the late Bill and Annie Marie Phipps. On June 23 1979, Vicky married the love of her life Mark Cook. Together they raised two beautiful girls. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She could be found at home playing board games or card games with friends or simply enjoying a quiet night in working on puzzles or scrapbooking. She loved traveling and would often take cruises, girl trips to Florida, wine tasting tours in California, and hiking into the mountains. She retired from Ascension medical group after working for the Saint Joseph network for over 30 yrs. After retirement, she moved into her new and most important role of being a full time nana for her grandkids. Vicky is survived by her husband; Mark Cook, her daughters; Tiffany Parks (Derek) and Heather Reed (Cory), her siblings; Steve Phipps (Ellen) and Karen Balog (Mark), and her grandchildren; Jake Parks, Hailey Parks, Colton Parks, Tenley Reed, Kollynns Reed and Kade Reed. Vicky is also survived by many special friends that have been like family. In addition to her parents, Vicky was preceded in death by her brother; David Phipps and her mother-in-law; Phoebe Cook. A visitation for Vicky will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Crematory Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Crematory Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the future to a foundation that will be created in her honor.
