Teresa Lynn Smith

Teresa was a hard worker and she was determined to complete anything she set her mind to. Even when her health declined she remained working at Walmart. She loved animals and was always making her way outside to feed the birds and stray cats. She was a nurturer at heart and found comfort caring for people, animals, and her garden. She tried to be the best mom, sister, and friend she could be. She always offered a shoulder to cry on and gave the best advice. She was a rational, clear minded, woman that could help you through anything. She had a powerful way of speaking and turned some of her words into poetry.

She is survived by her son Troy Smith and her brother Danny Smith. In addition to her parents Teresa is preceded in death by her brother Eddie Smith.

Per Teresa's wishes there will be no public service. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
