Ramona Wright, 81, passed away at Community Howard Hospital on Friday, March 24, 2017. She was born to Carl and Ethel Stevenson in Tyler, Missouri. Ramona married Donald Wright on April 8, 1966 and they have been married for almost 51 years. She worked for the Recorder’s Office for 12 years and then went on to work at St. Joseph Hospital for 20 years, then retired. She and Donald were members of the Pioneer Auto Club. They spend weekends up at Beaver Dam Lake, which she enjoyed very much. Ramona also enjoyed crafting with her sister-in-law.
Ramona is survived by her husband, Donald Wright, brother Gary (Kathy) Stevenson, one brother-in-law, and one sister-in-law; nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Ramona is preceded in death by her parents.
Friends and family may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 29 at 10:00 a.m. also at the mortuary. Ramona will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens.
