Margaret L Coachman

Margaret L Coachman, age 91, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 7:50 A.M. at Primrose Retirement Community Kokomo. She was born to the late Raymond and Esta (Andrews) Stainbrook in Tipton County, Indiana. Margaret married John J. Coachman on October 3, 1970 and he preceded her in death on February 19, 1996. Margaret retired from Milbank Manufacturing in December 1993 after being employed for 28 years. Margaret is survived by longtime companion and friend, Ronald Byrd; two daughters, Juanita (Rocky) Sears of Windfall, Indiana, and Lois Miller of Kokomo; stepchildren, Michael (Melissa) Byrd, Richard (Beckie) Byrd, Mark (Brenda) Byrd, and Tina (Brian) King; grandchildren, Darrell (Alisha) Sears of Kokomo, Jennifer (Shad) Smith of Russiaville, April (Randy) Slavey of Colorado, and Roy (Trisha) Smith of Kokomo; twelve great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Pat (Dave) Sharp and Susie Rogers, both of Tipton; niece and family, Dena Fuller of Elwood. Preceding her in death is her loving husband, John; parents, three brothers, sister, and son-in-law. There will be a time of visitation for Margaret on Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo, IN.
