Kathy Anne Alexander

Kathy Anne (Sagarsee) Alexander was born on July 24, 1948 to Anna Kathleen "Kathy" (Hight) Sagarsee and Lewis "Mac" Sagarsee in Peru, Indiana. She lived many places while her father was in the Air Force and graduated in 1966 from Eastern High School in Greentown.

She began her career at Delco in 1966 and met the love of her life Steve Alexander in 1968. They were married August 23, 1969 in Kokomo. They built a home in Russiaville and lived together there for 50 years until 2023 when they moved to Anderson to be closer to their grandsons. She was a loving mother to John and Stacy.

Kathy retired in 2004 from Delphi and enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed traveling to the beach and Smoky Mountains. She was an avid reader and loved listening to music. She had three grandsons who she thought hung the moon and loved playing board games with them and watching their ballgames.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Steve; children John Alexander, Stacy (Adam) Milburn; grandsons, Sam, Rhett and Jack Milburn; sisters Becky (Wayne) Clark, Conny (Tim) Cain, Barbara Browning, Pat (Dean) Hasler, Shannon (David) Shepherd; brothers Richard (Vita) Sagarsee, Paul (Julie) Sagarsee, Jon (Tricia) Sagarsee, Kevin Sagarsee and Andy (Kathy) Sagarsee. She also is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved sister Cyndy Robinson.

Visitation will take place from 11:00 am until the start of funeral services at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center, 3400 S.
