Jeffrey David Powell

Jeffrey David Powell, 63, Russiaville, Indiana passed away on January 17, 2024. He was born on April 30, 1960 in Kokomo, IN the son of John David Powell Jr. and Joyce Jean (Tate) Powell. He was a welder at Wabash National for 22 years. He absolutely adored and loved his wife, Darlene. Jeff loved coin collecting, magic tricks, trains, cracking jokes, and never met a stranger. He was also an avid gun collector. One of his favorite things to do was play with his grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory are his 3 children and 8 grandchildren; son, Jason (Jessalyn) Powell and children, Joshua and Aubrey; son, Adam (Adriane) Powell and children, Carson, Caleigh, Camryn; daughter, Heather (Todd Echelbarger) Powell-Echelbarger and children, Jacob Powell, Jaden and Addison Echelbarger; great-granddaughter, Indigo-Storm Darlene Powell; brothers, Brian (Mary) Powell, Greg (Kim) Powell, Russell (Faith) Powell; special niece/daughter, Ashley (Danny) Coalburn; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Darlene. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Solid Rock Ministry, 3017 E. 100 N. Kokomo Indiana from 12:00 pm until the start of funeral services at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery.
