Hannah J. Childs

Hanna J. Childs, 80, of Kokomo, passed away at home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 16, 2022. She was born on March 8, 1941 to Gilbert E. Clark and Jane (Cox) Clark. On April 1, 1961 she married William Childs in Kokomo. They were married for 60 loving years. He survives her. Hannah graduated from Kokomo high school with the class of 1959. She worked for Delco Electronics for 29 years. She loved to travel. She attended the 50's plus club and went on many trips with them. Her pride and joy was spending time with family, especially her granddaughters and great grandchildren. Surviving Hannah is her husband William; two children, Teresa J. Bowe (Jon) and Christopher D. Childs; grandchildren, Ashley Moody (Noah), Alisha Reed (Austin), and Kristen Childs; great grandchildren, Avery, Lyric, and Ryker Moody, and Carson, Kelsey, and Easton Reed; two brothers, Charles Clark and Robert E. Clark (Pat); and sister in law, Shirley Clark. Preceding her in death are three sisters, Mary Clark, Betty Thompson, and Jane Ann Bitner, and one brother, Gilbert L. "Sonny" Clark. Funeral services for Hannah will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 2pm with Pastor Mike Sawyer officiating from New Hope Church. Memorial contributions may be made in Hannah's memory to New Hope Church, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home. You may visit with the family prior from noon to 2pm. Hannah will be entombed at Sunset Memory Garden cemetery.
