Donna J Davis

Donna Jean Davis, age 76, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023. She was born on December 12, 1946 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Noel and Frances (Ubanks) Emrick. She married Scott Davis in 1965, and he survives. Donna graduated from Sidney High School in 1965. After graduation, Donna worked for Ohio State Highway Dept. and also taught ballet at night to children. She went on to work as a personnel manager at Plastic-Pack Jackson Center, Ohio. In 1965, she married Scott Davis, who was from the class of 1964 Sidney High. They had two children and moved to Florida to work for Bendix Corp. in Pompano Beach, FL. as a customer service rep. After her time at Bendix, she accepted a position as an Office Manager at Standard Register Credit Union in Dayton, Ohio. A few years later, she followed her husband, Scott, to Kokomo, Indiana, where he took a new job and Donna attended Ivy Tech, she always wanted to be a doctor. However, she accepted a job working in an Alzheimer Unit at St. Vincent Kokomo. She had found her calling doing Home Health Care around Kokomo for the next 20 years. Donna fought a good fight for 2 years but cancer eventually won. Donna leaves behind her loving husband of 58 years, Scott Davis, of Kokomo; oldest son, Joseph Davis, of Kokomo; son, Jeff Davis, of Tipton; and sister, Sue Ann LaFollette, Clyde, Ohio.
