Danny Joe Wright

Danny J. Wright, 55, of Russiaville, passed away at 5:23 PM Wednesday March 29, 2017. Born December 15, 1961 in Kokomo. He was the son of the late Charles William Wright and Joan (Briggs) Wright. He was a 1980 graduate of Taylor High School. He was employed with Cone Palace in Kokomo for over 30 years and worked as a Manager for most of those years. He enjoyed gardening, laying in the pool, cooking, going to Lake Manitou, and spending time with his family and his dog Blue. Survivors include two brothers, Steven (Michelle) Wright of Walton and Michael Wright of Kokomo. There are also nieces and nephews: JoAnna (Joe) Hillis of Walton, Shana (Brandon) Cannon of Kokomo, Steven K. (Liane) Wright Jr. of Peru, Charles M. Wright of Walton, Dustin Wright of Kokomo, and Breanna Wright of Kokomo. There are also several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; also his maternal and paternal grandparents. Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Monday, April 3, 2017, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Pastor Mike Sawyer will officiate. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Monday. Memorials may be directed to Guardian Angel Hospice.
