Clarence R Padfield

Clarence "Seany" R. Padfield Jr., age 93, of Kokomo Indiana passed away on Saturday April 21, 2018. Clarence was born August 10, 1924 to the late Clarence R. Sr. and Amanda E. (Hosier) Padfield. He married his wife Thelma (Kiser) Padfield July 11, 1944 at Fairfield Christian Church in Oakford, IN. She preceded him in death July 29, 2011. Clarence attended West Middleton High School and was drafted in 1943 into the Navy. He retired from Continental Steel after 30 years of service and worked for Delco for 10 years as an Electrician. Clarence was a proud member of the Mason's Scottish Rite and Shriners. He enjoyed spending time with his grand children and great grandchildren, fishing on Lake Shafer and golfing. Clarence also enjoyed wood working, and especially, making people laugh. Surviving Clarence are his brothers, Fred Padfield (Marilyn) of Kokomo, Jon Padfield (deceased wife Joyce Lightfoot-Padfield) of Evansville, grandsons, Michael Kelly, Jeremiah Kelly, granddaughter, Debra (VanNess) Kelly, great grandsons, Michael, Brandon, Jacob, Jesse, Dylan and Nicholas Kelly and several nieces and nephews. The family offers a special thank you to Dottie VanNess. Also surviving are two sisters in law, Jeneva and Barbara Padfield and brother in law, Richard Kiser. Those preceding him in death are his parents, wife Thelma, daughter, Shirley (Padfield) Kelly and brothers, Bob, Carl, Harry, Edwin, Everett and Norman Padfield. A Funeral Service for Clarence will be Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 1p.m. at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel; 725 S. Main Street with Pastor Steve Cole officiating. The family will offer visiting hours prior to the service from 11-1p.m. The Mason's will begin at 12:45p.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow the service at Albright Cemetery.
