Brenda Sue Ketchem

Brenda Sue Ketchem, born January 9, 1960, age 61 of Kokomo, IN passed away on December 7th of 2022 in the presence of her family after a short battle with cancer. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Terry Ketchem. She is survived by her fiancé Jim Smith, her children Amanda Lohr, Mindie Dixon and Charitie Till, her grandchildren Melissa Yocum, Bryanna Curley-Schaffer, Alexis Dixon, Andrew Dixon, and Hailey Lohr, and her loyal dachshund Prince Machiavelli. Brenda was born in Watertown, NY and left there to travel with her second spouse. After her divorce she married Terry Ketchem, from whom she was widowed. She later became the fiancé of Jim Smith of Kokomo, IN. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. In her spare time, she knitted blankets to donate to the less fortunate, and had a love for crafts and coloring. She made many friends through her games online. The family asks for donations to be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in lieu of flowers. A Celebration of Life will be held 28th of December from 1pm to 3:30pm at Bon Air Park.
