Zachary Joel Ammons

Zachary Joel Ammons, United States Army Private 1st Class of Knoxville was killed in a car accident in Nashville, TN Sunday, August 6, 2017. Zach is the 23 year old son of Joel and Sherry Ammons and brother to Nick and Katelyn Ammons. He is also survived by his great grandfather Glenn Seymour, grandparents Gary and Janice Hines, aunts and uncles Ellen and Barry Silver, Randy and Kassidy Hines, Kenny Ammons, Gary, Wayne and David Petko, Pam Chambers, cousins Nathan, Michael and Daniel Silver, Keller and Kerrigan Hines, John Marshall, Charlotte, Austin and Kristen Petko, and Jarod Chambers. Also the love of his life Kendall Cupp. Preceded in death by grandparents Mary and Ken Ammons, great grandmother Betty Seymour. Zachary was a 2013 graduate of Gibbs High and was member of Fairview Baptist Church. He was a supervisor at UPS and had been enlisted in the United States Army for last 2 years, most recently stationed in Fort Campbell, KY. He was dearly loved by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to College Ministry at Fairview Baptist Church, 7424 Fairview Rd, Corryton, TN 37721. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Corryton Church, 7615 Foster Rd, Corryton, TN 37721, with a Celebration of Zach’s Life to follow at 7:00pm.
