Wilma O'Dell Kelly

Wilma O’Dell Kelly, age 89 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Ben Atchley State Veteran’s Home. She was a longtime supporter at the Fantasy of Trees and retired from the telephone company. Member of Inskip Baptist Church. She loved all animals and gardening. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Bruce Kelly; parents, Harrison and Gladys O’Dell; sister, Ima King; brother, Leon O’Dell and sister-in-law, Judy O’Dell. Survived by son, Michael Kelly; daughter, Lisa Kelly Surrett; granddaughters, Jesse and Lauren Kelly; brother, Bob O’Dell; sister, Donna Kemper (Lonnie); brother-in-law, Tom King; sister-in-law, Ruth Collins; special friends, Kelly Kelly, and her coworkers from Fantasy of Trees and the Telephone Pioneers. Visitation will be held Tuesday at Weaver Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 pm. Family and friends will meet Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery at 12:45 pm for a 1:00 pm graveside service. Rev. Mike Segers officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Tennessee Children's Hospital or Young-Williams Animal Center.
