William “Bill” Henry Edwards age 94 of Knoxville, passed away September 17, 2021. He was a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church and an Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. Bill worked as a radio mechanic for Eastern Airlines. He is preceded in death by his wife, Estelle Knoll Edwards and son, William Henry Edwards, Jr. Survived by twin daughters, Frances (Mark) Nabholz and Ann (Nathan) Padgett; grandchildren, Christopher (Audrey), Timothy (Grace), William, Laura, Karyn (Austin), Olivia, Matthew and Bethany; great-grandchild, Marietta “Etta”. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Sunday, Sept. 26th in the Dogwood Room at Weaver Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 am Monday the 27th at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Gov. John Sevier Hwy. for a 10 am interment service. Rev. Kent Williams officiating.
