Wanda Turner Anderson, age 82, passed peacefully on Monday, September 12, 2016, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Wanda was the oldest of seven siblings and was a lifelong Knoxville resident. She was an active member of Second United Methodist Church since childhood, the Friendship Circle of the UMW, the Chancel Choir, and the Trew Home Builders Sunday School Class. As her health declined, she very much missed her church family and activities. She spoke often of her treasured friends and fond memories working at the clinic. Wanda is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, John W. (Jack) Turner; parents, Arthur and Bea Levy, a brother, Jerry Levy, and two infant brothers, Joe and Steven. She is survived by her husband Charles E. Anderson and son, David Turner both of Knoxville; daughter, Karen (Charles) Collins of Tulsa OK; daughters, Susan (Brad) White, Julie (Joe) Brannum and Nancy (Tim) Wilkinson of Corryton; sisters, Peggy Franklin, Maria (Mack) Wright all of Knoxville; brother, Bob (Linda) Levy of Savannah, GA; sister-in-law, Melba Levy of Ten Mile, TN; step-daughter, Stephanie (Russell) Carpenter and step-son, Todd (Kristy) Anderson. She was a proud Nanny to her beloved grandchildren, Chuck (Jamie) Collins of Tulsa, OK; Katie (Wayne) Brintnall of Knoxville, Philip (Krista) White of Boulder, CO; Dr. John Brannum of Norton, VA; Jacob Brannum of South Miami, FL; Trent (Jordan) Wilkinson of Murfreesboro, TN, Cara Wilkinson and Clay Wilkinson of Corryton.
