Vickie Marie Lowery Roberts

Vickie Marie Roberts, age 57, passed on Friday, July 8, 2016. Vickie was born October 23, 1958, in Knoxville to the union of Kestus Leon and Wanda Lowery, she was a member of the Church of Christ, a 1976 graduate of South High School and was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance. Vickie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and daughter who loved gardening, crocheting and spoiling her grandchildren. She was proudest of the fact that she was a Christian who was very devoted to her church and her fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Vickie was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Lowery. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Ronnie Roberts; parents, Kestus Leon and Wanda Tucker Lowery; children, Aaron and wife Brandy, Amanda and husband Chris, all of Knoxville. Additionally, she is survived by grandchildren, Lucas, Leland, Rowyn, Logan and Easton; mother and father- in –law, Butler and Jean Roberts, of Knoxville; brothers and sisters –in- law; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and special friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 5-7 p.m., at Berry Highland South Funeral Home on Simpson Rd. with service to follow in the chapel at 7:00 p.m., with Preacher Roger Williams officiating.
