Troy B. Smith, Jr., age 69, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2023. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Fountain City. Troy was a graduate of Holston High School. He was employed by Rural King as a tractor salesman. Troy was loved, and he loved, many many people. He loved well and he loved hard.
That is one of the many things he taught his family and shared with so many others. Survived by wife of 50 years, Kim Estes Smith; children, Angie, Michelle and T.J.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brother, Darrell Smith. The family will receive friends at Temple Baptist Church, 2100 Woodrow Dr., Knoxville, TN 37918 from 10 am - 12 pm Saturday. The funeral service will follow with Rev. Charles Lawson officiating. The family will have a private interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Temple Baptist Church of Fountain City, 2100 Woodrow Dr., Knoxville, TN 37918.
