Tommy L. Hutton Sr. departed this life on September 17, 2022 after an extended illness. Tommy fought a hard long battle for almost 5 years. Tommy was a beloved husband for almost 65 years to the love of his life, Faye Hutton. Tommy lost Faye on February 26, 2022. Later this same year Tommy suddenly lost his 33-year-old grandson, Robby Hutton. Tommy was born on November 16, 1939 at home on Orange Avenue in Knoxville Tennessee. Tommy was a retired BT Master Chief serving 23 years in the US Navy. After retiring from the Navy, Tommy worked as a Technical Service Field Representative for Flowserve until his second retirement. His work in field services allowed him to travel all over the world meeting various people and seeing far off places. He experienced an enormous amount of "life" and "things" which he often brought back and shared in stories, trinkets and other items from the world where he had worked and/or traveled through. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents George & Mildred Hutton, brothers Rex, Bill, Buddy, Bobby and his oldest sister Joyce. His wife of 63 years, Faye Hutton, and grandson, Robby Hutton, nieces, nephews and very special brother & sister in law. Left to cherish his memories are his children, Tommy Hutton Jr. (Jojie), Lisa Hutton (Mike Barringer), Kelly Peterson (Ryan). His sister Martha Egan, his brother Max Hutton,10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Tommy was loved deeply and will be missed by several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers in law, sisters in law, and very special friends and neighbors. Funeral Services are set for September 22, 2022, 5pm to 7pm at Weaver Funeral Home receiving friends and family with the funeral following at 7:00 p.m. Friends and family to meet by 1:45 at Byrds Chapel for 2:00 interment service with full military honors on September 23rd.
