Sherry Lynn (Rader) Shreve

Sherry Lynn (Rader) Shreve, age 83, of Powell, Tennessee suddenly passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022. She was born March 1, 1939 in Knoxville, TN. Sherry was a graduate of Fulton High School. On June 1, 1956 she married the love of her life, Charlie Shreve. Sherry was a member of Oakwood United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. In May of 1970, Sherry and Charlie, sang in the Billy Graham Crusade choir at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, TN. Sherry worked at Levi Strauss for many years then later became a caregiver for the elderly before she opened her own cleaning service. She was a cancer survivor after battling Renal Cell Carcinoma in 2016 and was recently diagnosed with congestive heart failure.

She was preceded in death by husband, Charles "Charlie" Shreve; parents, Paul P. and Georgie (Patty) Rader; sisters, Pollye Sacramento, Louise Castanenda, Gertrude Matheney; brothers, Floyd, Kenneth, Dan and Van Rader. Sherry is survived by daughters, Teresa Shelton, Twila Shreve, and Flecia Shreve; grandson, Jeremy Miller; granddaughter, Cheyenne Shelton; several nieces and nephews.

A brief graveside service will take place Tuesday, November 22nd at Lynnhurst Cemetery, meeting at the graveside at 10:45am for an 11am service.
