Preceded in death by her infant son, Wallace Deaton, Jr.; husbands, Wallace Deaton and Grady Norris; and son-in-law, Raymond Brocklesby.
Ruby is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Brocklesby, Carla Staruk (Henry), and Caryn Reeves (Jeff); six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren
There will be a Gathering of Friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 1, 2018 with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919. Services will be officiated by Rev. Kent Williams. Pallbearers include Michael Smith, Davy Lane, Josh Picquet, Corey and Lenard Dyke, and Henry Staruk.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the loving care Ruby received from Arbor Terrace, Fort Sanders RMC, and Summit View of Farragut.
