Thank you for teaching  me to be the man I am today.

Virginia, I was so sorry to hear about your son Ron. I didn't know him very well but from what I read in the comments he was a very loved person. I did not learn of his death until late and I could not get out of my driveway because of the snow. I would have loved to have been able to come to the funeral to see you and to express some words of comfort. I hope that you are receiving some measure of strength just knowing how many people cared for him. I would love to be in contact with you again. Hope you are doing well. Your friend Elaine

I was fortunate enough to know and work with Ron years ago. He was always a well spoken, articulate, and thoughtful person. I feel richer for having known him and am sorry to hear of his passing. RIP.

I worked with Ron at ORNL for many years, first as a coworker, and then I had the privilege of being his supervisor.  Ron was always a great person to be around, but the thing I will always remember was his respect for everyone.  He truly exemplified Jesus' challenge that we should see Him in everyone we encounter.  Ron was a great example of that for me, and I will always be grateful to him.  Godspeed.

Ron,  you will be missed at the pantry,   my good friend,  praying for everyone.
