Rhonda Denise Buffalo

Rhonda Denise Buffalo, 56, earned her wings on July 12th, 2022. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, she brought love, light, and laughter to all who knew her.

Like a storybook romance, Rhonda Denise married her high school sweetheart and husband of 38 years, Bill Buffalo. Together, they started a family and were blessed with two boys, Charlie and Robert. With these additions, their hearts and home were full. Raising two boys and working meant that Rhonda Denise was always on the go but she was more than up to the challenge.

Rhonda Denise was devoted to her family. From spending time with her father and siblings playing board games or just spending quality time with them, to her loving care of her grandmother and mother-in-law. She gave her whole heart to those around her and enriched the lives of everyone she touched.

A true beach bum at heart, she was at her happiest with sand under her feet and the sound of waves in her ear. Rhonda Denise was never one to turn down a trip to Panama City.

Rhonda Denise is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Roscoe & Alma Vandergriff; her grandmother, Katherine Norman; her father, Gordon R. Norman, Jr.; aunt and uncle Susie & David Lusby; and sister Sherry Randolph.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Buffalo; children Charlie & Robert Buffalo; aunt Becky Nix (David); siblings Diana McGill (Darryl), Crystal Norman, Gordon R. Norman, III, Jimmy Randolph, and Melissa Howell; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Rhonda Denise was a wonderful person that brightened everything around her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Receiving & Memorial Services will be held Friday, July 15th. at Weaver's Funeral Home located at 5815 Western Ave., Knoxville, TN 37921. Receiving will begin at 5:00 p.m. and Memorial Services at 7:00 p.m., to be followed by Graveside Services on Saturday, July 16th at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park, 1501 Bethel Valley Rd., Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
