Raymond Edgar Berry

Raymond Edgar Berry, age 76 passed away at Ft. Sanders Medical Center on Saturday, February 4, 2023. Raymond was a faithful member and Deacon of The Gospel Church. Raymond was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. He will truly be missed by all. Raymond was born September 25, 1946 in Knoxville, TN. Graduated from Rule High School. Raymond is survived by sister, Betty (Junior) Strange; brother, Daymond (Jody) Berry; daughter, Peggy (James) Reno; sons, Jamie (Sharon) Adkins, Ricky (Andrea) Berry, Mickey (Tiersha) Adkins and Tony Berry. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by wife, Wilma Jean (Adkins) Berry; parents, Lonnie and Alfreta Berry; brothers, Lonnie Berry, Jr. Clyde and Annie Berry and Louis Berry; sister, Patsy and John Lethgo. Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at The Gospel Church from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with the service to follow at 1:00 pm. Pastor Terry Gaylor officiating. Family and friends will proceed to Greenwood Cemetery following service for interment.
