Priscilla M. Keeney, 64, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, December 9, 2016. As an educator for over 30 years, Priscilla touched the lives of many Knox County School students and they all touched her life as well. She was a soccer mom, a soccer coach and an avid fan of various youth athletics. She was always one of the first to volunteer for extracurricular school activities. She was a loving mother, wife, and sister.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Betty Pete. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, David Keeney; sons, Nathan and Jonathan Keeney; sister, Gloria Dickey; sisters-in-law, Carol Walborn, Marilyn Goddin, Jane Dark, Kathleen Murray; brothers-in-law, Mark Keeney, Phil Dark, John Goddin, and Robert Humphrey; nieces and nephews; Jessica, Gina, Patti, Debbie, Pauline, Jason and Daniel; and many special friends throughout Knoxville, Chapel Hill, North Carolina and West Palm Beach, Florida.
A memorial service and celebration of her life will be conducted Saturday, December 17, 2016, at 3:00 p.m., at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, and a brief Interment ceremony will follow at Berry Highland South Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com.
