Paul Adrian Yates

Paul Adrian Yates, age 87, of South Knoxville, Tennessee passed away at home on Friday, July 8, 2022. Paul was born January 17, 1935. He was retired from The University of Tennessee steam plant. Paul was a member of the Maryville Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by parents, Andy and Maud Yates; his wife of 48 years, Charlene Yates; and cousin, Coy Adams. He leaves behind his great niece, who he considered as a daughter, Niki (Brent) Beeler; great-great nieces, who he considered as his granddaughters, Emily Lopez and Jasmine Beeler; great-niece Lora (Lynn) Phillips; and great-great-nephews Elihjah and Nolan Phillips; cousins, Howard (Brenda) Flynn, and Eula Adams; longtime friend, Chuck Ford; as well as several extended cousins.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM for an 11:00 AM graveside service at Sherwood Memorial Gardens Friday, July 15, 2022.
