Pamela Wininger Maples, age 73, of Knoxville TN, passed away peacefully with family by her side on August 17, 2022. Pam graduated from the University of Tennessee and was an avid Vols fan. She spent her life in the field of medical technology while residing in St. Simon’s Island, Brunswick, and Atlanta GA. Pam attained a Master’s Degree in Public Administration at 50 years old and spent the last twelve years working as a Healthcare Consultant before retiring. She was very skilled at knitting and enjoyed being an active member in the Lions Club. As an animal lover, Pam enjoyed her extensive collection of teddy bears, but also had a special fondness for miniature Schnauzers. Being a mom and Grammie was Pam’s greatest joy in life; she cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. Pam is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Edna (Ward) Wininger, her sister Betty (Wininger) Ramen, and her husband William Grey Maples II. Pam is survived by her sister Patricia Wininger, her children; Julieanne Stapleton Evilsizer, William Grey Maples III, and his wife Shannon, Pamela Kristen Maples and her partner William Forsyth, and her eight grandchildren: Alexandra and Dane Eckles, Aiden, Addison, Sara, and Emma Maples, and Attie and Cooper Forsyth.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 West Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918.
