Nancy Joann Tucker Mamoo Beckner

BECKNER, NANCY JOANN TUCKER (MAMOO), AGE 76, of South Knoxville, passed away Monday June 24, 2013, with her family by her side. Mrs. Beckner was a lifelong member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church and retired from BellSouth after 39 years of service. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lida Stanton Tucker and Robert L. Tucker; husband, Roger Beckner, sister Dorothy T. Helton, brothers Robert L. Tucker Jr., Max L. Tucker, Bill G. Tucker, and David L. Tucker (Tuffy). Mrs. Beckner is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Moore and husband, Tim; grandson, Isaac Moore; granddaughter, Meredith Moore; brother, Charles W. Tucker. Joanie was adored by many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to Mrs. Beckner’s dear friend, June Davenport, and caregiver and family friend, Jada Bates and all of the compassionate and loving nurses on 3-Heart at the UT Medical Center. The family will receive friends, Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 6-8pm at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery, Friday, June 28, 2013 at 10am for the graveside service, Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating.
