Myrtle Louise Finney

Myrtle Louise Finney, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 30, 2022. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and read her Bible every single day. She lived each day of her life with a never ending faith, walking in God's path and striving to be a perfect example to all. She was our angel on earth and to everyone who had the privilege to know her. Myrtle retired after 33 years from Knox county schools. She was preceded in death by parents, Leroy and Beulah Irwin; husband, James R. Finney; sons, James H. and Kenneth Finney; daughter, Edith Finney; granddaughters, Melissa Childress and Lori Laugherty. Myrtle is survived by son, R Allan (Vanessa) Finney; daughters, Kathy Childress and Melinda (George) Garibay; 8 grandchildren, Michael, Mark, Shawn, Amy, Mary Beth, Ricky, Kevin and Jennifer; many great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and family.
