Michelle Nicole Young

Young, Michelle Nicole –age 34, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 28, 2012. Michelle was a graduate of Seymour High School Class of 1996. She graduated from nursing school in 1999 and worked as an LPN at Ft. Sanders Regional. Michelle was very loving and caring and was loved by all her patients and their families. She was loved by everyone who ever met her. Michelle was a member of Bell’s Chapel Baptist Church, Seymour, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jean Harrell; grandfather, Tom Young, Sr. and grandfather, Raymond Herring. She is survived by her father, Tommie R. Young, Jr.; mother, Teresa Herring; brother, Michael R. Young; longtime companion, Shay Jones and grandmother, Jennie Lindeman of Ozark, Alabama. Michelle is also survived by special uncles, Charles and James Young; special friends, Tiffany Ingle and Kate Hensley; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many other close friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the 4th Floor Nursing Staff at UT Hospital and to Dr. Miller and Dr. Rollhauser for the excellent care they provided to Michelle. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. A celebration of Michelle’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 1, 2012 in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Rev. Richard Richter officiating. Pallbearers will be Justin Connor, Lon Thorton, Chad Carringer, Brandon Ingle, Aaron Williams, Marco Verdetto. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
