Michelle Lee (Shaner) Johnson

Michelle Lee (Shaner) Johnson, age 52, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. She was born April 29, 1970 in Edmunston, New Brunswick, Canada. She loved spending her time with her grandchildren, knitting, crocheting, and baking. Michelle always had a smile for anyone. "She was the best mom you could have imagined to be able to have. She never judged and was always there to turn to in any situation." Michelle never met a stranger and considered her friends a part of her family.

Preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Jean Shaner.

Michelle leaves behind her Loving Husband of over 20 years, Jason Johnson; Children: Heather Barnes, Asaad Nevel, Brooke and Daryl Cruz, Jason Johnson, Devin Johnson; Grandchildren: Aubrielle, Jaylah and Izaiah Nevel, and Jovani Cruz; Father, Sandy Shaner; Sister, Danielle Shaner-Arroyo; Brother, Michael Webb; Nephews: Alexander and Chase Mallette; and Niece, Autumn Rain Mallette.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 PM Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920.
