Michael Len Jenkins, age 70, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. He was proud to have been a long-time TVA employee. Subsequently, he worked on a variety of engineering projects for Parsons in South Carolina and Tennessee. He finished his professional career, continuing technical design work, for General Electric. Michael had many hobbies, his favorites being woodworking, working on cars, UT sports, and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Preceded in death by his father and mother, Thomas Roy Jenkins and Helen Bradshaw Jenkins; brother, Barry Jenkins; and son-in-law, Antonio Darsinos.
He leaves behind his wife, Haven Westbrook Jenkins; children: Jaima Jenkins Darsinos, Caitlin Jenkins Lail (Cole), and Lawson Jenkins; brother, Thomas Jenkins (Susie); grandchildren: Gus, Helen, Katherine Darsinos; nieces and nephews: Keith Jenkins, Sarah (Andrew) Scruggs, and Craig Jenkins.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Thursday, January 5, 2022 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM for an 11:00 AM interment at Woodlawn Cemetery Friday, January 6, 2022.
