Maynard Owen Winch

Maynard 'Max' Winch, originally from Louisiana, worked in aviation for 43 years retiring from AirEvac in 2011. His love of the Smokey Mountains brought him to Tennessee with his loving wife Debra Winch.

Preceded by parents Owen Chester Winch and Myrtle Vincent Winch.

Survived by his brother Keith Winch and wife Kathy Winch of Paonia Colorado. Children of Judy Courvelle including Timothy Winch of Salt Lake City Utah, Christy Winch of Sunset Louisiana, Jeremy Winch of Sunset Louisiana and Cindy Winch of Abita Springs Louisiana.

He also leaves behind step-children Jeff Dartez of LaRose Louisiana, step-grandchildren Lynsey Dartez, Alex Dartez, Braden Dartez, step-great-grandchildren Freyja Dartez, Lydia Dartez of Gulfport Mississippi; Sid Dartez and partner Christy Potts of LaRose Louisiana; Rachel Glandon and Brian Glandon, step-grandchildren Emma Glandon and Connor Glandon of Knoxville Tennessee.

A funeral service will occur Monday, November 25, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 9913 SHERRILL BLVD, KNOXVILLE, TN 37932. A committal service will occur Monday, November 25, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 9913 SHERRILL BLVD, KNOXVILLE, TN 37932.
