Matthew Thomas Campbell

With much sorrow, we announce that Matthew Thomas Campbell, age 28, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 12, 2023. Mathew was born on May 13th, 1994 and was the youngest of 5 children.

Mathew was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Dean & Marie Campbell and his Father, Larry Campbell. He is survived by his Grandparents, John & Norma Kirkland, his Mother, Connie (Kirkland) Campbell, his four older siblings: Alan Campbell, Cynthia (Campbell) Cobb, Anthony Campbell & Stephen Campbell, 3 nieces, 1 nephew and many aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.

Mathew loved fishing, disc golf and spending time with friends. He was always a kind hearted son, sibling and friend to all that knew him. Mathew loved the Lord and gave his life to Christ at a young age and was a member at Parkway Baptist Church. He went on multiple mission trips, even as far as Peru & Guatemala, as a teenager to help others and to share the Gospel of Christ. He had worked through many challenges and hardships through more recent years and we can rejoice in the fact that he is now joined with his dad and with his heavenly Father in heaven with a new and perfect body.

A memorial service for Matthew will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37919.
