Mary E. Walker (Mamaw Bill), age 99, was born Sunday, September 19, 1915 and passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at NHC Fort Sanders. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Walker; parents, John and Dinah Ward; three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Green (Calvin); grandson, Neal Green (Susan). Special thanks to caregivers, Olga, Donna, Jo, Kay, and first floor staff at NHC Fort Sanders.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Mamaw Bill (as she was known) was a devoted reader of the Bible and read it through many times. There will be a graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 11:00am, with Rev. Dana Fachman officiating.
