Mary Louise Simpson

Simpson, Mary Boone (Mimi) –age 88 of South Knoxville went to be with her Lord and reunited with her beloved husband, C. B. “Red” Simpson, on Saturday, November 6, 2010. She was a member of Lake Forest Church, past president of South Knoxville Opti-Mrs. Club and one of the founders of the Golden Cloggers. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by parents, Elizabeth and George Boone; son, Charles Simpson; sisters, Jonne Boone Mason Reeves, Margaret Boone Randles. Survived by daughters, Betty Lou Simpson, Olivia Simpson Corum and husband Mike; granddaughters, Lori Gano and husband Jonathan, Megan Mitchell, Jennie Simpson Osborne and husband Kevin; grandsons, Chuck Fugate, RJ Simpson and wife Kealo, and Ronnie Simpson; great granddaughter, Vyala Gano; great grandson, Preston Osborne; sisters, Irene Boone Morgan and husband Henry and Betty Boone Brannum and husband David; many special nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Jason Haas officiating.
