EWING, JR., LEONARD RUDOLPH – age 48, of Knoxville, TN passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012. Leonard was an incredible father, loved by all children, amazing story-teller, volunteer for Red Cross, peer visitor for recent amputees, proud sport and scout parent, generous and caring spirit, and loved by all. Most recently employed by TVA Kingston Plant, but his true love and calling in life was working with children for the YMCA of Knoxville, Camp Montvale, and his wife’s child care center, King’s Castle Learning Center. Preceded in death his father Leonard Rudolph Ewing, Sr., of Rogersville. Survived by mother Phyllis Ewing, of Rogersville; wife of 21 years Donna (Bailey) Ewing, of Knoxville; sons Bryce (17) and Connor (14) of Karns High School, and Logan (9) of Amherst Elementary School; brother Craig Ewing of Rogersville; and sister Stephanie Ewing of Knoxville. Family will receive friends Friday, July 13, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. memorial service to immediately follow at Weaver Funeral Home.
