Katherine Denton Hodge, age 84 passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. Katherine was born August 20, 1937 in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee. She was a graduate of Carter High School and a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Katherine retired from Knoxville Computer as a Keypunch Operator.
Preceded in death by husband, Donald E. Hodge; parents, George "Joe" Denton and Laura Underwood Denton.
She is survived by her sister, Allene D. Reddick; brother, Allen Denton both of Knoxville; nephews, Brad H. (Melissa) Reddick of North Carolina and Barry D. (Ellen) Reddick of Knoxville. several great nieces and nephew.
The family will receive friends 2-3 pm Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, with a funeral service to follow at 3 pm. Rev. Kirby Ownby officiating. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery.
