BOWERS, JUDY LYNN WHALEY – age 64 of Knoxville went home to be with the Lord November 14, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents Rev. Ben and Rebin Whaley. Survived by husband Charles Bowers, daughters Brandi and Nicola, step son Dewayne and wife Missy Bowers, grandchildren Stone, Saige, Sawyer, Jadelyn, Logan, and Landon, brother George and wife Jane Whaley sister Joanne Whaley, niece Teri and husband Mike Holmberg and children Julia and Emily, nephew Randy and wife Penelope Whaley, and children Jonah, Amber. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday at Weavers with chapel service to follow at 8 pm. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Saturday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for an 11 am interment.
