Joseph Michael Kennard

Joseph (Joey) Kennard, age 33, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 25, 2020 at home. He was born in Orlando, Florida and a graduate of Farragut High School. He attended Roane State Community College. He was an Air Force Veteran and last served as a Crew Chief on C5 Aircraft. He was of the Catholic faith.

He was a kind and gentle person with an infectious sense of humor and always willing to help. Joey loved his dogs especially, Mindy. He was an avid car enthusiast. He also truly loved his hobby of collecting unique sneakers as well. He was a cherished son, brother and good friend to many and will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his younger sister, Kate; grandparents, Curtis and Eleanor Kennard and James and Dolores Donovan. Survived by his parents, David and Tess (Donovan) and brother, Nathan Kennard.

Due to the Phase II COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions put in place by the Knox County Health Department, the family invites friends to a Call at Convenience Tuesday, June 2, 2020 between the hours 12:00pm to 5:00pm in the Parlors of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920. A Private Funeral Service will be held for immediate family members.
