Joe was one of my best friends. I went to fulton high school with him. I played many rounds of golf with him. We associated together off the golf course and went to the ole timers breakfast at Shoneys for many years with school buddies from Fulton High and some from Central High and others.  He was a great person with a great sense of humor.  He had a great wife in Billie and they were a happy and great couple. I talked to him several times  in the weeks before his passing and I will never forget him. 

I have a lot of memories from knowing Joe as a very good friend since junior high school. I went to Fulton High School with him, played on baseball teams with him and played many rounds of golf with him over the many years and we shared the monthly breakfast times at Shoneys with the ole timers.  He was one of the finest men I ever knew and told me over the years he had married well.  I pray for Billie and her family at this sad time.      jim George
