John Spencer McCurry, age 69, of Knoxville, went to his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. He was a member of Clapps Chapel United Methodist Church. Spencer was adored and admired by all who knew him. He was a man of great integrity, compassion, and a deep love for his Savior, family, and fishing. The influences he left behind as a husband, father, and grandfather will guide us through our life’s journey. Spencer is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Maude McCurry, Brothers, Richard and Ben McCurry, and Daughter, Sherry McCurry. He is survived by loving wife and best friend of 37 years, Kayde McCurry, sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Heather McCurry, Jeff and Missy Lusby, Son Billy Lusby, loving grandchildren Cody (Sue) Sohm, Shelby and Sydney McCurry, Keelie, Cole, and Cannon (Reece) Lusby, Lora Vineyard, Jessica Lusby, Dakota Inklebarger, and Dalton Tindell, as well as his beloved dogs, Peanut, Chico, and Tiny.
